1. What are some of the key things that inspire your writing / the things you put out?
It's incredibly easy for me to take scenarios in my life and romanticize them in a way to create a world out of it. So easily, the life I've lived and the memories I've made along the way has been a highlight in the work I've done. Another thing that has inspired not only my writing, but the other interests I have like fashion/design/film, is forcing myself to take a deeper look into the history of the art rather than investing my time in my work and the work of others who I admire. It's been interesting being able to put two and two together and to be frank, at times a bit tedious, but I've expanded my knowledge on what I love in ways I could never imagine possible.
2. What’s your favorite and least favorite aspect of the fashion world?
Fashion has slowly become more and more inclusive/accessible, which has been one of my favorite things I've seen so far. Yet, there's still a big problem when it comes to these ethics, especially with fast fashion. There's still so much more progression that needs to be made in the industry, but it's been encouraging to see brands take that first step towards the right direction. I can only hope we will continue to see these changes being made in the future!
3. What are 3-5 things you couldn’t live without?
Atticus, Lolita, and my Spotify account.
4. Wanna talk about mental health here or a project you’re working on?
I've just finished my second book of poetry, Film for Her. It's been a project I'd been working on over the past two years which has then turned into potential for future installments. The process of this project has made me incredibly eager to only continue writing more and more.
5. Do you believe in luck?
I'd be quite the fool not to
